In 2024, Icelandic freezer vessels reached a total catch value of 43 billion ISK (CIF), approximately 290 million EUR, with 33 billion ISK (around 220 million EUR) running through Vélfag fish processing machines!

Sólberg ÓF, equipped with 7 Vélfag machines, took the top spot once again, while Baldvin Njálsson GK, which upgraded its fleet with 4 Vélfag machines late in 2023, now ranks second with 4.2 billion ISK (about 28 million EUR).
According to catch reports, it’s noteworthy that Baldvin Njálsson GK had a considerably smaller catch than the other ships, which drew attention. A strong testament to the power of our technology in driving efficiency and profitability!
